- The work area must be cleaned before application. Any dirt, dust, oil, or other foreign matter must be removed.
- The surface on which the membrane will be adhered must be smooth, clean and dry. If there are cracks, gaps or sharp surfaces on the floor, these should be corrected.
- Necessary occupational health and safety measures must be taken at the work site.
- Appropriate personal protective equipment should be used during application.
- Application can be made with MS Polymer based mastic and Silicone based adhesive.
- Adhesives containing Acetone and Similar Chemicals, corrosive acids and bases may damage the structure of EPDM membranes and are not suitable for bonding. Chemical interactions can reduce the quality of the membrane.
